Kembla Grange R3 - Assett Professional Services Kembla Grange Stayers Cup (Bm68) (2400m)

Selections:
#5 - Wilshire Boulevard (NEXT BEST) - $4.60
#1 - Notabadbuy - $2.50
#2 - Insider Trader - $6.50
#3 - Fun Sunday - $6.50

BEST BET - #5 - Wilshire Boulevard (NEXT BEST)
Wilshire Boulevard looks very well placed to get another win aboard in this race after stepping out for the Sargent camp a couple times at this distance and he’s hard fit, in form and looking to keep the momentum going here. He came very close two back at this trip at Warwick Farm in tough company before stepping out at Rosehill in even stiffer competition and challenging them in the straight but just not being able to go on with the trifecta in the final moments. Back to provincial level now, hard fit and gets in super light with the claim from Bourke, go well.

THE DANGER - #1 - Notabadbuy
Notabadbuy is a smart animal for the Waterhouse / Bott camp who shapes up well stepping out to this distance after building towards it this campaign. He’s clocked two wins in four runs this time in, one being first up over the mile and then two back over the 2000m at Canberra and he now steps out here ready for the trip, fit and with a claim to offset top weight. Honest threat.

VALUE BET  - #2 - Insider Trader
Insider Trader really clicked up and got going last time out for the Hickman camp. He has taken a couple runs to build fitness for these distance ranges but last time out he raced over the 2300m at Newcastle and boxed along the fence behind the speed before a split came at the 250m and he powered away to find the front and just keep going when strong through the line. It would be stupid to ignore him based on that effort.

Kembla Grange R4 - The Illawarra Mercury Gong (1200m)

Selections:
#10 - Kirragirl (BEST BET) - $3.10
#14 - Media World - $3.00
#9 - Khaznah - $8.00
#12 - Resilient Miss - $10.00

BEST BET - #10 - Kirragirl (BEST BET)
Kirragirl looks very well placed to go over at her third career start for Chris Waller here. He debuted at Canterbury over the 1250m when jumping awkwardly and contacting another runner, never fully able to get into the race after that but then showed sharp improvement when second up at Rosehill, staying behind the speed before staying tough in the straight to hold second place then in a race where the winner has won again since. Third up now, hard fit and better for the runs, I think she will prove tough to beat.

THE DANGER - #14 - Media World
The market is giving a tonne of respect to Media World for the Snowden’s and I can understand it given the way he has trialled for his return. He had just the one run at the beginning of December last year at Caulfield when only really getting going late but he was strong through the line there and he now comes here off the back of a Randwick trial at the end of last month where he blitzed a field of some sharp horses including Photographics who looks a very sharp animal herself, rates well here.

VALUE BET  - #9 - Khaznah
Khaznah has been very good since making his debut for Ciaron Maher at Wyong at the end of January earlier this year. He didn’t get much clear air on debut then when only being able to come off heels at the 200m mark and battling hard into third placing there before stepping out three weeks between runs and leading along the fence again at Wyong before just being overrun late in the piece. Shapes up very well here off the back of those two runs.

Kembla Grange R7 - Peroni Kembla Grange Classic (1600m)

Selections:
#4 - Mare Of Mt Buller (ROUGHIE OF THE DAY) - $11.00
#2 - Tutta La Vita - $3.40
#1 - Arctic Glamour - $4.20
#7 - Private Legacy - $11.00

BEST BET - #4 - Mare Of Mt Buller (ROUGHIE OF THE DAY)
Mare Of Mt Buller rates very highly here and I have placed an early bet on her already for Chris Waller. He’s won three on the trot since coming back from a 23 week spell at the end of last year and has been afforded nice breaks between each of the runs, most recently coming from a 7 week let up where he stepped out at Rosehill two weeks back over the 1500m and got into a battle in the straight but finished too strong to win well there. He will shape up fitter for this assignment, has been turned around quicker and I think the price is ridiculous.

THE DANGER - #2 - Tutta La Vita
Chris Waller’s other runner for this race is Tutta La Vita who is a deserving favourite and shapes up very well here. He came back from an 18 week spell a fortnight ago in the Group 1 Drinkwise Stakes at Randwick where he missed the start but stayed on the inside and weaved a passage late to really get going late and run home hard into third there. He will take a stack of improvement off that run and should prove hard to beat here.l

VALUE BET - #7 - Private Legacy
Private Legacy is a very sharp horse who steps out for the Hickman camp here off the back of two runs from a spell and looks to be in career best form since coming back to racing. He resumed with a very close runner up placing at Goulburn before stepping out at this course over the mile and dominating them when coming from the tail of the field to clock the best closing splits of the day and run over them late for a big win. Third up, hard fit and can win again here.

Best Promotions for Kembla Grange Racecourse

Promotions are traditionally the primary way for punters to create an edge over the bookies, as they can save your cash when your runner fails to win, in the instance of Unibet they often offer 2nd and 3rd money back in bonus bets for a selection of races on the midweek and Provincial racing days. Coupled with their generous odds I have to put them as the top bookie promotion wise at the moment for Australian racing.

If you are looking for the best promotions this week for Wednesday's racing I wouldn’t look past Unibet, often they offer odds boosts in addition to the money back promotions. Don’t forget to check your account as well for personal offers.

Promotions often change so make sure you sign up at unibet.com.au to see what promotions are applicable to you and you may even be surprised to find some promotions that weren’t mentioned here!
