Friday Racing Tips - Moonee Valley Racecourse 15/12/23

A half a million dollar card is set to take place at Moonee Valley this Friday night and we have some very high level and competitive races on the card with eight races set for tomorrow and I have gone through the card and picked out my three best betting spots of the day, I am quite excited for this card so follow me below as I run through tomorrow night’s racing at The Valley!

#3 - Glowlight (NEXT BEST) - $5.50
#5 - Kiko - $2.50
#9 - She's Bulletproof - $4.00
#2 - Exceed The Dream - $6.50

BEST BET - #3 - Glowlight (NEXT BEST) 
I think Glowlight is flying for the Ellerton camp and can get the better of the two favourites in this field. He has had four runs back from a spell this time in and has run very well in each but particularly the last two he has powered home from not the easiest of spots to place runner up to some smart horses. His level of competition is the best in this field and I think he wins now.

THE DANGER - #5 - Kiko
Understandable danger for the Conlan stable in Kiko who comes back to racing off of a 27 week spell and has run very well first up in the past. From his Three first up runs he has placed third in two of them but he is a ten start maiden so whilst I think he is a danger I can’t be betting him at $2.50

VALUE BET  - #9 - She's Bulletproof
She’s Bulletproof hasn’t put a foot wrong in her two career starts for the Littlefield stable and I think she runs well here. She debuted here when chasing a very smart winner home in Jambalaya who has since gone on to win again before coming off of a three week break and saluting dominantly last time out at Mornington. She hasn’t beaten much there but the form from two starts ago should stand up here.

BEST BET - #5 - Scuderia
Scuderia is a short course specialist who is absolutely flying and I think can get another win here. His last two runs have both come at this track and trip and despite one being in the soft ground and the other being on top of the ground he has found the front and proved too much for them in each. Draws well, hard fit, can replicate the same and make it three in a row.

THE DANGER - #1 - Little Miss Kubi 
Little Miss Kubi also has barely put a foot wrong and is a track specialist who will get her chance again here. She last stepped out over this track and trip a couple weeks ago when having to do things tough out wide and far back but despite that she still was flying home to finish runner up from the rear of the field. That run was full of merit and if she can settle a touch closer she will be very dangerous here.

VALUE BET  - #3 - Berry Bubbly (ROUGHIE OF THE DAY)
Berry Bubbly has shaped up to be an ultra consistent horse for the Griffiths / De Kock stable and I think she can go on with it here third up and hard fit. She’s won four of her 18 starts and stepped out at this track / trip second up last time out and led throughout for a dominant win. That time landed up being very good and he now will be hard fit third up, good jockey and good gate. He can go on with it here and is one that the more I look at the more I like.

BEST BET - #1 - Sisterhood (BEST BET)
Sisterhood hasn’t run a bad race in four career outings for Maher and Eustace, having won two and placed in her other two starts and comes into this off the back of a first up win at Sandown where she didn’t get the easiest of runs over this trip but still found plenty late to power home for a good win where her and the runner up put a big gap on third place. Well placed here, I think she is one of the better bets on the card.

THE DANGER - #6 - Miss Passion
Miss Passion resumed in a massive way for Peter Moody given it was her first run in 57 weeks and I think she can only have upside to come off of that. She hadn’t been seen since late 2022 when putting together four sharp placings in a row but came back with a thrashing over the 1100m at Bendigo. I think she rates well off the back of it and can make it two from two here.

VALUE BET - #9 - Yosemite Falls
Yosemite Falls only has the career debut to go by and made start one a winning start when leading all the way to win at Echuca as favourite a couple weeks ago. He may not have beaten much but the way he did it and the time he put up were both very good and the stable generally goes very well at The Valley. Watch what the market does with him.
