Last race, Orlabent was 6th out of 9 at Sandown-Hillside on July 31 on a heavy track over 1000m, 5.0 lengths behind Miss Icelandic (58kg) with 59kg at $5.50. But it should improve here. Previously, 1st of 10 at Murray Bridge Gh Rs0MW on July 13, 2024 over 1000m. Very good record at the track, watch out for it on Friday. Third-up shouldn't be an issue, has looked good this prep.

On July 18 at Grafton in a BM66 over 1000m, Swift Charm started slow and finished 10th out of 13, while carrying 62kg at $6.00 odds. Previously, 3rd of 11 at Coffs Harbour Cls 3 on March 11, 2024 over 1200m. So I think that's a better form guide and should improve here.

Jace McMurray was on board last run and won over 1200m at Gold Coast Poly. So I think that's a good form guide for Friday's race and should be tough to beat down the straight. Before that, Zouperb finished first at Beaudesert in a BM65 on July 6, 2024 over 1100m. Good stats at the distance too, bodes well for Friday. Has enjoyed racing third-up in it's career. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.
