In his last race on June 22 at Flemington, he surged to the front, winning by 0.4 lengths. Last start, beat Convincebility (57.5kg) at Randwick-Kensington over 1400m at the starting price of $1.80. That was a good win and I like Pure Alpha on Saturday too, especially with Kerrin Mc Evoy on board from barrier 14. Before that, Pure Alpha finished first at Warwick Farm in a BM72 on May 22, 2024 over 1300m. Has a 50% career win rate so it knows how to win. Very good record at the track, watch out it on Saturday. Very good stats when its racing at this 1400m distance. Good stats when it's second-up. In winning form, don't look past it.

Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 11 in the Open at Ipswich on June 22. That race was over 1350m on a soft track and it came in 2.3 lengths behind Rocketing By (57kg). Definitely among the winning chances. Previously, 2nd of 10 at Eagle Farm Open on June 8, 2024 over 1500m. Good stats when it's second-up. I think its a real genuine each way chance.
