Zambezi Khan showed promise at Morphettville on May 11, finishing 2nd out of 14 in a Open on a good track, just 1.8 lengths behind Positivity (56kg) with 56kg at $8.00. With that run under its belt, Zambezi Khan is expected to improve and I think is a strong contender for this race. He's shown he has the ability to be a serious contender and with a bit more luck and a better trip, he’s got a real shot at taking this one. Previously, 2nd of 9 at Newcastle BM78 on May 11, 2024 over 900m, behind Kote (60.5kg) with 56.5kg at $1.85. Likes soft conditions with 2 career seconds in 3 starts.
