The Autumn Group 1 races season continues on here with some solid racing tomorrow as we look towards more Stakes racing this weekend in NSW and VIC. There’s a bunch of high level contests at Randwick racecourse and a support card at the Gold Coast racecourse with group 1 races at the two first mentioned courses. Hedged is the straight bat option resuming here for the Price / Kent camp and comes here back from a spell having not raced since the beginning of October when he smashed a field at Sandown, sitting just off the pace before going away from the field seemingly with ease. His jumpout work has been very encouraging since and I think he will put on a show no doubt.
Gold Coast - R4
#1 - Daytona Bay - WIN @ $2.50
Haven’t heard from this guy in awhile until he stepped out a couple weeks ago but I have always been a fan of Daytona Bay and he stepped out a couple weeks ago at Doomben when copping the pain barrier but he stuck to his task very well in defeat when running into second place there. I think hard fit and back on top of the ground as well as at this trip he will be tough to beat and looks one of the better placed favourites of the meeting.
Randwick - R6
#1 - Private Eye - WIN @ $2.20
Has to be Private Eye here for Joe Pride after the way he challenged what looks like the best sprinter in the country right now in Imperatriz last time out in the Lightning Stakes. He, like a lot of others in this field, is looking towards the TJ Smith and I imagine all he will need here is a bit of luck from the gate but based on how he just blitzed to the front last time out I can’t see the gate stopping him here.

- Multi betting can prove very lucrative as you can take two short favourites and land up with very good odds as they are multiplied.
- Since the returns on multi bets are perpetuated you are able to make smaller investments and minimise your risk
