The Autumn Group 1 races season kicks off here with some big racing tomorrow. There’s heaps of listed races at Randwick racecourse, Caulfield racecourse and support racing at Doomben racecourse with listed racing at each of the courses. I have posted full length free horse racing tips for each of the aforementioned racecourses. In addition to my Saturday tips there is also a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.  
 
In this article we focus on putting together a couple multi bets of varying risk as we look to pick up some more lucrative bets in conjunction with our Friday tips so follow me below as I outline my best multi bets of the day!

Randwick - R2

#1 - Anode - WIN @ $2.00 

Anode looks like the straight bat option here for the Waterhouse / Bott stable and has been saved for this race since winning dominantly on debut on the 16th of December where he found the front and never gave any horse a chance to get into the race. His trials have been very solid for the return to racing and I imagine they will employ similar tactics here. 

Doomben - R1

#5 - Miss Busslinger - WIN @ $1.90 

Miss Busslinger looks like a good bet to kick off the day up north for Kris Lees and I think coming here second up and out 110m in trip off of her debut at the Sunshine Coast where she was very strong through the line after being a bit slowly away is positive for her. The horse she ran behind is in this week’s Inglis Millenium so I think the form stacks up for this. 

Caulfield - R4

#4 - Southport Tycoon - WIN @ $1.90 

Southport Tycoon is rates as one of the best bets of the day here at Caulfield in my opinion. This Ciaron Maher trained horse just missed out in the win in the Australia Stakes a fortnight ago where he just couldn’t get a good start but was storming home late to place runner up to Veight. He’s fitter and will take a lot of benefit off of that and should be very hard to beat here.

  • Multi betting can prove very lucrative as you can take two short favourites and land up with very good odds as they are multiplied.
  • Since the returns on multi bets are perpetuated you are able to make smaller investments and minimise your risk
