Last time out at Wyong, Pink Shalala was right up there with the leaders and put in a solid effort. He showed great speed and battled on fairly well. This time, I think he's got a more favourable draw, which should give him a better shot. With that advantage, he's definitely among the dangers and one to watch closely. In his last start, Pink Shalala was 59kg and ended up finishing 2nd, behind Mostro (60kg) over 1350m after being right in the thick of things around the corner. Previously, 1st of 8 at Rosehill Barrier Trial-Open on June 11, 2024 over 900m. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.
