Best Multibet Tips of the Day | April 16th

The Autumn Group 1 races season is coming to an end off the back of great racing in NSW last weekend and we come back to Ballarat racecourse and Scone racecourse tomorrow. On our Onlyracing website I have posted a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our Aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.  
 
In this article we focus on putting together a couple multi bets of varying risk as we look to pick up some more lucrative bets in conjunction with our Tuesday tips so follow me below as I outline my best multi bets of the day! 

#6 - Romantic Choice - PLC @ $2.35

I think that Romantic Warrior is massive overs here for the Dabernig camp and that he can definitely fire at a price coming into this off the back of what was a completely luckless run at The Valley where he was posted wide and buried deep in the field before being eased out of the race to finish last when not able to build into it at all. However, the runs prior had been excellent with the start prior being a very strong three length win at Geelong to hold a field at bay with what didn’t look like much effort from him. Happy to take him at that value and will have something on come the jump. 

#1 - Vivideel - PLC  @ $1.30

Vivideel looks very well placed for the McEvoy’s here and is a horse who I think can continue to progress in an assignment like this. He beat all but a smart one in Divus Romulus last time out who then went out at Bendigo in Saturday grade and ran a cracker race so the form stacks up for this, he’s hard fit and Kennedy retains the ride which gives him a key weight offset here. Very keen to see how he goes. 

#4 - Split Decision - WIN @ $3.50

Split Decision looks like a good way to open things up for Matty Smith in the betting at Scone tomorrow and I have followed this guy through his short seven start career in which he’s been very impressive, winning three of the starts and placing runner up in another. He comes here after winning at Newcastle three weeks ago where he resumed from a 12 week break and found plenty to win there. He’s had a very sharp tick over trial between runs in which he still looks to be moving very well and all things considered I think he will be tough to get past here at a good price.
