Best Multibet Tips of the Day | April 17th

The Autumn Group 1 races season is coming to an end off the back of great racing in NSW last weekend and we come back to Canterbury racecourse and Caulfield racecourse tomorrow. On our Onlyracing website I have posted a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our Aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.  
 
In this article we focus on putting together a couple multi bets of varying risk as we look to pick up some more lucrative bets in conjunction with our Tuesday tips so follow me below as I outline my best multi bets of the day! 

#6 - Romantic Choice - PLC @ $2.35

I think that Romantic Warrior is massive overs here for the Dabernig camp and that he can definitely fire at a price coming into this off the back of what was a completely luckless run at The Valley where he was posted wide and buried deep in the field before being eased out of the race to finish last when not able to build into it at all. However, the runs prior had been excellent with the start prior being a very strong three length win at Geelong to hold a field at bay with what didn’t look like much effort from him. Happy to take him at that value and will have something on come the jump. 

#4 - Inexorable - WIN @ $1.85

Inexorable gets another chance for me here after continuing to be so honest in defeat with four consecutive placings this time in and I think he is going to be a lot more suited getting back on top of the ground here after running in the mud at Geelong. Lane sticks, the runner up placing prior was in a $200k race and I think that’s all she wrote to be honest. 

#2 - Imperial Force - WIN @ $3.50

Waller and Nash combine on Imperial Force who is having his second career start for the camp after being beaten on debut at Kensington when stepping out at the end of last month in a very sharp maiden that saw do plenty from on the speed when sticking on gamely in defeat, only finding one better late. He should be improved here and I think will be tough to beat with Nash aboard. 

#6 - Here The Crowd - PLC @ $1.45

Ciaron Maher looks to dominate the first few lines of betting in this race and whilst his other runner pulled up lame on debut I am keen to be in the corner of Here The Crowd who I feel should be progressing nicely into this. He debuted in a strong maiden at Sandown Lakeside where he hit the lead at the top of the straight and looked the winner before just being claimed late in the piece by a sharp horse in Icarus. Hefel retains the ride, he will be improved for this and only needs to run up to the last start effort to be competitive here.
