Previously, it finished 8th of 9 at Canberra Acton in a BM60 on July 10, 2024 over 1280m, 8.7 lengths behind Chief Witness (60kg). Not the best run but I'm willing to give it another chance. Before that, 2nd of 11 at Albury BM58 on June 24, 2024 over 1175m. So that should be a better form guide for this race. Distance shouldn't be an issue either, loves running 1200m. Wet track form reads well too.

No More Romance showed some promise at Tamworth last time. In it's last start, No More Romance placed 3rd out of 14 in a Cls 1 on July 5 over 1200m, on a soft track, just 1.5 lengths behind Up The Country (58kg) with 58.5kg at $8.50. Previously, 1st of 14 at Tamworth Mdn on June 21, 2024 over 1200m. Plenty of success at this track before and I like the trend for Friday. Doesnt mind running third-up, good record thus far.

Last race was a 3rd place finish at Caulfield over 1440m. Previously, 4th of 13 at Flemington BM84 on June 8, 2024 over 1400m. So I think it's ready for a win. Very good stats at the distance, has placed in 5 of 13 career starts and that includes 2 wins. Also, should enjoy the track conditions. Has won twice on soft tracks in 12 starts and has placed in 50% of its career starts on these type of tracks.
