OnlyRacing.com.au has you covered for Thursday horse racing action at Pakenham and Hawkesbury. It's night racing at Pakenham on Thursday but there could be some rain around lurking around the area. So look out for that as the track is already a soft 7. Runners that love the wet / heavy conditions should enjoy running at Pakenham on Thursday. The Hawkesbury track rail is +2m 1100m-450m, True Remainder. It's rated a soft 5 and I'll be targeting two runners at the track. Let's get into the multi of the day!

Little Jack is coming off a fantastic first-up win and looks primed for another strong run. After a four-month break, he came from well back to win by 2 lengths at Sale on May 5, carrying 59kg and beating Itsukushima. His odds were $4 that day. This isn’t new for him either. Last time he raced second-up, he won by a nose at Cranbourne over 1400m, defeating The Mansman with 59.5kg at $26 odds. With jockey Jason Maskiell on board, Little Jack has a solid chance to repeat his success on Thursday and should be a nice safe bet to start the multi.
#5 - Equipage - PLC Hawkesbury R4
Bookmaker | Odds |

$3.30 |
Equipage is starting fresh this campaign and I note that he has a good track record when first-up. Last time he was first-up, he placed third at Kembla Grange in a Maiden race on a wet track. He finished 1.1 lengths behind Likeabomb, carrying 55.5kg at $2.40 odds. He closed out his last prep with a third-place finish at Newcastle in a Super Maiden, 1.5 lengths behind Sunlord. With Zac Lloyd in the saddle, Equipage is set to run well and should be a tough competitor to beat, especially given his strong performances 1st up thus far.
#2 - Snatchreilly - PLC Hawkesbury R6
Bookmaker | Odds |
$1.30 | |
$1.30 | |
$1.35 |
Snatchreilly is in great form and will be coming off a dominant 3.5-length win at Newcastle on a soft track. He led from the front and didn’t look back, carrying 59kg at $2 odds. Prior to that, he finished second at this track over 1100m, just half a length behind Kirkuk on a slow track. He’s well-placed from a perfect draw and looks set to be a major player in this race. With Keagan Latham as the jockey, Snatchreilly has solid prospects and should be able to end our multi with a bang!
