It's a massive day of horse racing on Saturday in Australia and I'm here to try and nail a multi across race meetings at Sandown, Randwick and Doomben. All 3 meetings have 10 races on the agenda and I've got 3 runners that I think can run a place at each race track. In terms of weather conditions, Randwick will be a bit cloudy with a 20% chance of rain but shouldn't be heavy. Should be similar conditions at Doomben with a chance of rain and it'll be 22 degrees. Cawdor is a Group 3 placegetter and is resuming today as a dual acceptor. Last prep, it finished third in a small field at Deauville on August 27 over 1400m on a soft track, just 1.2 lengths behind Suviana with 59kg at $3.20. On debut, Cawdor won by 1.75 lengths at Chantilly on April 3, 2023, over 1600m on a slow track, beating Stressfree with 58kg at $3.10. This horse is one to watch today.

Konasana is a Group 3 winner and a dual acceptor. Last start, it finished 10th of 12 at Hawkesbury in the G3 Hawk Gneas on May 4 over 1400m, 4.5 lengths behind Schwarz, carrying 56kg at $9. Before that, Konasana scored a big 3.5-length win at this track in the G3 James Carr on April 20 over 1400m in the wet, defeating Scarlet Oak with 54kg at $17. Drawing a nice alley, this horse rates highly on Saturday in my opinion.

Scarlet Oak looked impressive last start and should be a safe bet to end the multi. It was the with a 2.5-length victory at Newcastle in a 3&4yo Bm72 on May 11 over 1600m on heavy going, defeating Nana's Wish with 56.5kg at $2.30. Before that, Scarlet Oak sat on speed throughout and finished second of 11 at Randwick in the G3 James Carr on April 20 over 1400m on a wet track, 3 lengths behind Konasana carrying 54kg at $4.50. This horse is in great form and ready to perform again.
