Best Multibet Tips of the Day | April 26

The Autumn Group 1 races season is coming to an end off the back of great racing in NSW this weekend and we come back to Tamworth racecourse and Cranbourne racecourse tomorrow. On our Onlyracing website I have posted a best bets tips article that has helpful track insights and also outlines the best promotions going around across our Aussie betting sites with my best bet and best outside chance of the day.  
 
In this article we focus on putting together a couple multi bets of varying risk as we look to pick up some more lucrative bets in conjunction with our Friday tips so follow me below as I outline my best multi bets of the day! 

#4 - Sergeant Mavers - WIN @ $3.10

Interesting field here with a bunch of these being multiple start maidens but I think that it makes this a great betting spot for Sergeant Mavers. He comes here for his seventh career start and fourth overall since coming to Joseph Waldron. The last two runs have been very impressive at Pakenham where he got no luck but ran home hard into the placings before stepping out at Bairnsdale last time where he really should have won but was nailed late by a smart horse. He’s hard fit, Stockdale’s been with him all prep and retains the ride, should be strong here. 

#1 - Hellcibell - PLC @ $1.35

Hellcibell has to lug the big weight here but I think that he has panels on his rivals and it won’t be enough to slow him down here. He’s won three and placed in the other two of his five career starts and now comes here off of a short break since winning at Scone at the end of March. He’s had a nice tick over trial between runs and gets the A1 jockey in Bullock for the ride. 

#10 - Beurre Rouge - PLC @ $1.40

Beurre Rouge has the runs on board and I think that should carry him quite far over a lot of these who are either making their debuts to the races or coming back from breaks, including the favourite. He’s had two runs to kick the career off for Ciaron Maher and showed good improvement last time out to chase hard at Sandown from a nothing spot and finish just behind the placegetters. He should get a bit more luck from the good gate here and will be sharp third up. Go well.
