Major Look is making his comeback today, racing first-up after a break. His last appearance was back in December at Warwick Farm in a Super 3yo Maiden-SW over 1300m on a heavy track. Unfortunately, he finished last in a small field, 7 lengths behind Gelatin with 57kg at odds of $9.50. However, don't let that last performance fool you.
On his debut at Kembla Grange in October, he showed real promise. He finished 4th out of 13 in a Cg&E Maiden-SW over 1200m, just 5.5 lengths behind Written Casa, carrying 56.5kg at $15. With jockey Tyler Schiller taking the reins today, Major Look has a good shot at redemption. If he can tap into his debut form, he could certainly be in the mix. Keep him in mind when placing your bets!

Wild Calm is a reliable type coming into this race off a 31-day freshen-up. His most recent outing was at Kembla Grange in a Bm68 over 2000m, where he finished 5th out of 9, just 1.5 lengths behind Diabelli with 56.5kg at $14. Prior to that, he ran at Gosford in a 3&4yo Bm72 over 1600m on a slow track. Despite starting from the back, he managed to finish 6th out of 10, 4.5 lengths behind Zouatica, carrying 54.5kg at $16.
With Jason Collett on board, Wild Calm has the ability to perform well. He has shown he can handle different track conditions and distances, making him a versatile contender. With a bit of luck, he could find himself in the winner's circle come Tuesday afternoon. He's definitely one to respect and consider for your bets.

Wirrpanda is a useful gelding who has shown he can compete at various levels. In his most recent race at Geelong in a Bm64 over 1125m on a wet track, he finished 6th out of 9, 5.5 lengths behind Cheval Chic with 58.5kg at $4. Before that, he had a tougher outing at Caulfield in the Vgold Dash over 1200m, finishing second last out of 7, 4 lengths behind Celui with 57kg at long odds of $67.
Despite these recent results, Wirrpanda has the potential to bounce back. With Rhys McLeod in the saddle, he’s worth keeping an eye on. If he can recapture some of his earlier form, he could be a strong contender in this race. I'll give him another chance; he might just surprise with a solid performance.
