The relative unknown quantity here is Mazzis, a horse with streams of potential, who looks set to challenge in this field. It comes from serious stock and will relish testing itself against the more experienced field here.

VALUE BET - Sun Worshipper - $5.00
Another horse in form is Sun Worshipper but it simply had no answer to Beau Dazzler when it last ran out but it should be better for that showing and is one to keep an eye on.

BEST BET - Metalart - $2.20
Whilst it hasn't managed a win this season, Metalart couldn't have come much closer and this is a real chance to finally break the duck for the campaign. It has been placing consistently though and it is the firm favourite in this field.

THE DANGER - Bohemian Lad - $4.00
The form of Bohemian Lad is certainly catching the eye for some punters and it showed up well when just missing out at Eagle Farm last time out. Stepping up to 1200m should suit too and this horse is an intriguing one.

VALUE BET - Blue Spinel - $9.00
Plenty have outside shouts here but none more obvious than Blue Spinel. This is an experienced horse at this level, at Eagle Farm too and it could be bang in the mix from the outset.

BEST BET - Kerchak - $3.80
Despite seeing its winning streak brought to an end at Randwick last time out, the form of Kerchak has been very strong all season. That result feels like a minor blip and Kerchak should come roaring back in this one.

THE DANGER - Belvedere Boys - $5.00
By contrast, Belvedere Boys found form in winning at Rosehill Gardens in its last outing and it should be buoyed from that one here. This is no easy task but Belvedere Boys has the potential to be in the mix.

VALUE BET - Nikau Spur - $11.00
This race feels a little more open than the odds suggest and Nikau Spur could spring a serious surprise. It has won or placed in each of its last 5 races and it shouldb't be too far away here, at a great price.
