BEST BET - #4 - Cleitus

Last time out, it had a perfect run and won, looking much fitter. This horse knows how to bring the heat and last time out at Werribee, he showed us exactly what he's made of. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

THE DANGER - #2 - Godzilla

Just finished behind the places in it's last start, finishing 4th at 9 on May 31. So I think it can improve after that run and should be fitter here.

VALUE BET - #1 - Turn It Up Tommy

Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 10 in the BM64 at Pakenham on May 23. That race was over 1600m on a soft track and it came in 1.7 lengths behind Little Jack (61kg). Definitely among the winning chances. Plenty of success at this track before and I like the trend for Wednesday.

BEST BET - #6 - Lovazou

Lovazou is first-up on Wednesday. Previous success running first-up in it's career and should enjoy the racing conditions at Ballarat.

THE DANGER - #1 - Tacito

On May 29 at Sale in a BM70 over 1200m, Tacito started slow and finished 7th out of 11, while carrying 57kg at $15.00 odds. Previously has had plenty of success when it's running third-up, so just another reason to get on board.

VALUE BET - #12 - Lady Dumont

In good form and has strong claims to win on Wednesday. Last start was a good one, placing 2nd in a RST64 at Ballarat over 1200m. Has enjoyed success in wet conditions and the track conditions should be suitable.

#12 Steely Hustler - $17.00

BEST BET - #13 - Stokke

Her last race saw her finish 6th of 7 at Sandown-Hillside in a BM64 over 1000m, 4 lengths behind Miss Tarzy carrying 56kg at $11. However, I think Stokke can do a better job here from barrier 4. Previous success running first-up in it's career and should enjoy the racing conditions at Ballarat.

THE DANGER - #10 - Written Bligh

Last time out at Sandown-Hillside, Written Bligh was right up there with the leaders and put in a solid effort. He showed great speed and battled on fairly well. This time, I think he's got a more favourable draw, which should give him a better shot. With that advantage, he's definitely among the dangers and one to watch closely. 

VALUE BET - #12 - Steely Hustler

Steely Hustler is first-up on Wednesday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. Coming off a decent effort at Sandown-Hillside, finishing 4th behind Knucklebones (59.5kg).

Ethan Brown may only have 1 runner but it could be the safest bet of the day.

R8 - Pharari - $1.75

On a day filled with fierce competition and horses finely tuned for the races, it's wise to approach multi betting with caution. I've leaned towards horses with favourable barriers, decent weights and in-form jockeys. These factors can often make a real difference in such tightly contested races.
