In the recent outing for Danish Prince at Warwick Farm, he came in third, not far behind the leaders. Now that he's fitter, he's got a solid chance of finishing in the top three again, I think. Deanne Panya knows how to handle him too, so don't count him out just yet. In winning form, don't look past it.

THE DANGER - #6 - Osman

Last start, finished 3rd of 11 at Newcastle in a BM68 over 1400m, just 2.4 lengths behind Invasive Dreams (55kg) carrying 58kg at $6.50. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances.

VALUE BET - #4 - Unlimited

Last race was a 3rd place finish at Rosehill over 1023m Good record when it's fourth-up.

Last start, How Dare You was 8th of 8 at Hawkesbury on July 8 over 800m on a heavy track, 8.4 lengths behind Santasia with at . But it should improve here. Canterbury stats are excellent, having not finished outside the top 3 yet.

THE DANGER - #2 - Flying Destiny

Last start, finished 3rd of 8 at Warwick Farm in a BM72 over 1300m, just 2.0 lengths behind The Replicant (58.5kg) carrying 60kg at $12.00. Has been good before when it's first-up.

VALUE BET - #9 - Triskelion

On July 11 at Hawkesbury in a BM64 over 1100m, Triskelion started slow and finished 6th out of 10, while carrying 60kg at $6.00 odds. Previous success running first-up in it's career and should enjoy the racing conditions at Canterbury.

Previously, it finished 5th of 14 at Warwick Farm in a BM64 on July 10, 2024 over 1600m, 3.2 lengths behind Headley Grange (61kg). Very good stats when its racing at this 1900m distance.

VALUE BET - #5 - Monarchs Brae

Her last race saw her finish 10th of 10 at Warwick Farm in a BM72 over 2130m, 4 lengths behind Miss Tarzy carrying 56kg at $11. However, I think Monarchs Brae can do a better job here from barrier 9. Very good stats when its racing at this 1900m distance.

James McDonald could be riding a hat-trick with 3 straight favourites in R1, R2 and R3.
