BEST BET - #8 - The Englishman
At Rosehill on August 17, The Englishman finished 7th out of 13, while carrying 54kg at $7.00 odds. Very good top 3 stats at the track. 

THE DANGER - #10 - Luconi 
In its last race, Luconi was 4th at Randwick-Kensington on August 14 over 1800m, just 2.7 lengths behind Socrates (56.5kg). This should be another race where I think it can potentially improve and get over the field. First-up form looks good. 

VALUE BET  - #2 - Scalextrics
Last time out at Canterbury, Scalextrics was right up there with the leaders and put in a solid effort. He showed great speed and battled on fairly well. This time, I think it's got a more favourable draw, which should give it a better shot. With that advantage, this horse is definitely among the dangers and one to watch closely. In its last start, Scalextrics was 57kg and ended up finishing 2nd, behind Gracilistyla (60kg) over 1550m after being right in the thick of things around the corner. In winning form, don't look past it.

BEST BET - #3 - Tavs
In its latest run at Warwick Farm Barrier Trial-Open on August 12, it held his ground and snagged 4th place out of 9, not too bad. Should enjoy running first-up as has been the case in it's career. 

THE DANGER - #1 - Flying Destiny
With Hutchings on board last start, won at Canterbury (1250m). So hopefully that form continues into Wednesday's race. On Wednesday, Zac Wadick is in the saddle and knows how to win. Get on board. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances. 

VALUE BET  - #10 - Vilnius
In the recent outing for Vilnius at Canterbury, he came in third, not far behind the leaders. Now that he's fitter, he's got a solid chance of finishing in the top three again, I think Tommy Berry knows how to handle Vilnius too. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

BEST BET - #3 - Noble Conqueror
Its shown it has the ability to be a serious contender and with a bit more luck and a better trip, it’s got a real shot at taking this one. Racing well at the moment, so I like its chances. 

THE DANGER - #9 - High Dandy
Last time out, it had a perfect run and won, looking much fitter. This horse knows how to bring the heat and last time out at Hawkesbury, it showed us exactly what he's made of. With Tyler Schiller in the saddle, its a force to be reckoned with and could very well take the win again. In winning form, don't look past it. 

VALUE BET - #6 - Leica Storm
In its recent race at Scone, Leica Storm came in third, not too far behind 1st and 2nd. After that run, it should have a good chance of running a place in this race. Nash Rawiller is in good form and should be able to get a good run. Has looked good this prep and has enjoyed winning form fourth-up before.
