BEST BET - #1 - Father's Day

He's shown he has the ability to be a serious contender and with a bit more luck and a better trip, he’s got a real shot at taking this one. Doesn't mind running fourth-up as Father's Day has proven success when it's in this situation.

THE DANGER - #3 - Awesome Wonder

In his latest run at Randwick BM78 on May 25, he held his ground and snagged 4th place out of 10, not too bad.

VALUE BET - #2 - Hiawatha

Last start, Hiawatha was 5th of 10 at Randwick on May 25 over 2400m on a soft track, 1.3 lengths behind Casual Connection (52.5kg) with 56kg at $5.00. But it should improve here. Previously has had plenty of success when it's running third-up, so just another reason to get on board.

In good form and has strong claims to win on Wednesday. Last start was a good one, placing 2nd in a Mdn at Newcastle over 1400m. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

THE DANGER - #9 - Cheergal

Has had success before in dry conditions so the track conditions should suit and could be a shot at taking this one.

VALUE BET - #8 - Al Ras Blues

Last time out, it finished 3rd out of 6 in the Barrier Trial-Maiden at Randwick on May 31. That race was over 1050m on a good track and it came in 5.9 lengths behind Waamil. Definitely among the winning chances.

Previously, it finished 6th of 11 at Flemington in a BM78 on May 18, 2024 over 1200m, 5.1 lengths behind Niance (57kg). Has had plenty of success when it's running third-up, so just another reason to get on board.

THE DANGER - #1 - Ningaloo Star

On June 1 at Rosehill in a BM72 over 1100m, Ningaloo Star started slow and finished 6th out of 13, while carrying 56.5kg at $6.00 odds. Previously has had plenty of success when it's running third-up, so it could improve.

VALUE BET - #10 - Nanshe

Last start, Nanshe was 6th of 10 at Hawkesbury on June 3 over 1250m on a good track, 5.9 lengths behind Fortune. But it should improve here. Has a good record third-up.
