Randwick-Kensington R2 - James Squire Mdn Hcp (1550m)

Selections:
#5 - Calanche - $2.70
#6 - Miss Chenery - $3.20
#6 - Miss Chenery - $7.00
#4 - Misterkipchoge - $10.00

BEST BET - #5 - Calanche
You would think that Calanche’s time comes now at his third career start for Ciaron Maher after David Eustace has now gone overseas. He’s had two sharp placings to kick his career off and now comes into this third up and ready to go over after placing at Warwick Farm last time out. I think with Jmac aboard he only runs well here.

THE DANGER - #6 - Miss Chenery
Miss Chenery has to be given at least a look here for Chris Waller after making an impressive debut at Warwick Farm a couple weeks back and has been ticked along nicely with a sharp trial at Rosehill the other day. Her debut saw her come from three wide in the run to keep chasing hard in the straight and go very well there. He should be stronger here.

VALUE BET  - #8 - Impunity (ROUGHIE OF THE DAY)
Impunity looks like he is ready to start the career properly now for the Thompson camp after the way he returned to racing for his fifth overall career start back from a 15 week spell. He returned to racing over the 1400m at Warwick Farm where he came from deep in the run after jumping awkwardly to recover well and power home into fourth place. He shapes up well off the back of that run now.

Randwick-Kensington R3 - Ole Kirk First Yearlings (Bm72) (1550m)

Selections:
#2 - Hellfire Express (BEST BET) - $3.80
#4 - Centrestone  - $3.80
#3 - Sonora - $4.80
#5 - Chartwell - $8.00

BEST BET - #2 - Hellfire Express (BEST BET)
Hellfire Express has had a belting start to his career with four wins and two runner up placings in seven runs and shapes up for this run well after placing at Canterbury over this trip where he got a nice trail behind the speed and clicked up well in the straight but was just run down late by one sharp horse. He won his three prior starts and can hit back now.

THE DANGER - #4 - Centrestone
Centrestone is the joint favourite in the market for Chris Waller and understandably so after the way he has kicked off his career. He returned to racing off of a 19 week spell when winning well first up at Eagle Farm before going to Doomben and clocking a sharp placing. He then had a couple weeks off for recovery before returning to racing last time out at Rosehill where he looked incredible in the run until the last 200m where he just dropped out of the race completely. I think he can hit back hard here.

VALUE BET  - #5 - Chartwell
Chartwell resumed to racing for his fourth career start mid December last year at Canterbury when winning very well first up and then proving it was no fluke when he next stepped out at that same track and trip and recording another very sharp run when powering home into the placings. He then took a big jump up to Saturday grade racing at Rosehill where he honestly didn’t put in a bad effort at all. He now comes back in depth, hard fit and can run well here without surprising.

Randwick-Kensington R5 - The Stud & Stable Staff Awards (Bm72) (1800m)

Selections:
#3 - Oakfield Wallaby (NEXT BEST)  - $5.50
#1 - Morning Sun  - $3.40
#2 - Roma Avenue - $5.00
#5 - Tympanist - $7.50

BEST BET - #3 - Oakfield Wallaby (NEXT BEST)
How is Oakfield Wallaby not favourite here for Kris Lees? This horse has won five from eight of his career starts and four of those wins have come consecutively with the most recent being here a couple weeks ago where he charged home over the 1800m for a huge win from the back. This horse just keeps stepping up to whatever is thrown his way and with Collett on the only query is if he handles the big weight.

THE DANGER - #1 - Morning Sun
Morning Sun comes into this having his second Australian start for Annabel Neasham and ready to win after being an impressive horse back in Ireland, ending off his Irish campaign with back to back wins before being brought down here. He then made his debut at Warwick Farm when setting third and two wide in the run and still storming home, doing more than enough in his Aus debut when placing second. He shapes up very well here off the back of that.

VALUE BET - #5 - Tympanist
Tympanist has been around a long time but I think that he is still going well for David Payne after the way he last raced when at this track over the 1800m. He came from not the easiest of spots when posted deep and wide to find a split in the straight and come to the forefront of the race in the final 200m before just finding one better in Oakfield Wallaby. He shapes up here better at the weights, hard fit and I think can turn the tides with the right kind of run.

Best Promotions for Randwick-Kensington Racecourse

Promotions are traditionally the primary way for punters to create an edge over the bookies, as they can save your cash when your runner fails to win, in the instance of Unibet they often offer 2nd and 3rd money back in bonus bets for a selection of races on the midweek and Provincial racing days. Coupled with their generous odds I have to put them as the top bookie promotion wise at the moment for Australian racing.

If you are looking for the best promotions this week for Wednesday's racing I wouldn’t look past Unibet, often they offer odds boosts in addition to the money back promotions. Don’t forget to check your account as well for personal offers.

Promotions often change so make sure you sign up at unibet.com.au to see what promotions are applicable to you and you may even be surprised to find some promotions that weren’t mentioned here!
