BEST BET - #12 - Fretta

Resuming on Wednesday. Has a positive first-up record in its career. In his latest run at Moonee Valley BM70 on January 27, he held his ground and snagged 4th place out of 7, not too bad. Previous success running first-up in it's career and should enjoy the racing conditions at Sandown.

THE DANGER - #7 - Rackemann

Last time out, it had a perfect run and won, looking much fitter. This horse knows how to bring the heat and last time out at Sale, he showed us exactly what he's made of. With Daniel Stackhouse in the saddle, he's a force to be reckoned with and could very well take the win again. In winning form, don't look past it.

VALUE BET - #6 - Magarten

With Luke Cartwright on board last start, won at Seymour (1425m). So hopefully that form continues into Wednesday's race. On Wednesday, Luke Cartwright is in the saddle and knows how to win. Get on board. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

BEST BET - #14 - Ithadtobezou

Last time out, he made a late surge and finished a close second over 59kg at 59kg, just behind the winner. Kiko (59kg). Is definitely one to watch and could be hard to beat. He goes on top for me. In winning form, don't look past it.

THE DANGER - #12 - Struck Gold

In good form and has strong claims to win on Wednesday. Last start was a good one, placing 2nd in a BM64 at Bendigo over 1300m. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

VALUE BET - #10 - Hola Amigos

In its last race, Hola Amigos was 4th at Sandown-Hillside on June 19 over 1300m, just 2.5 lengths behind Awapuni Princess (57kg). This should be another race where I think it can potentially improve and get over the field. Good stats when it's second-up.

I like the look of Awash in Race 8 at Sandown on Wednesday. Previously won at Sandown-Hillside over 1700m, carrying 53.5kg. That was a really good win, so I think Awash should be tough to beat on Wednesday too. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

THE DANGER - #9 - Lincoln Rocks

With Jye McNeil on board last start, won at Sale (1400m). So hopefully that form continues into Wednesday's race. On Wednesday, Jye Mcneil is back in the saddle so I like its chances again. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

VALUE BET - #15 - Star Vega

Last start, Star Vega was 6th of 12 at Sandown-Lakeside on July 10 over 1600m on a heavy track, 5.0 lengths behind Spare Coin (59.5kg) with 60kg at $10.00. But it should improve here. Distance shouldn't be an issue either, loves running 1800m.
