BEST BET - #3 - Quite The Lass

Last time on the track, it placed 3rd out of 12 in the BM70 at Sandown-Lakeside on July 17. That race was on a heavy track and it came in 1.9 lengths behind Libica (53.5kg). Should be in the mix. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.

THE DANGER - #6 - Pitchanun

Last time out, this horse made a late surge and finished a close second over 1600m at Flemington, just behind the winner Arqana (53kg). Is definitely one to watch and could be hard to beat. 

VALUE BET - #7 - Roadie

In its last race at Ballarat Synthetic on July 14, it came out on top with a winning margin of 0.1 lengths. It was carrying 58kg and held off Morryl Moral (60.5kg), which was pretty good to watch at $8.50 odds. So, it's looking in good touch for this race. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.

BEST BET - #4 - Boltsaver

In its last race on July 17 at Sandown-Lakeside, he surged to the front, winning by 2.8 lengths. He carried 58.5kg and managed to beat Riproar (57.5kg), which was quite impressive, especially at $5.50 odds. So, it's definitely in top form right now. Rates a terrific each-way play, I think.

THE DANGER - #2 - Hanau

Its latest race at Sandown-Lakeside BM70 on July 17, it managed to get 4th place out of 13, pretty good effort. Decent record fourth-up so I like it each-way.

VALUE BET - #7 - Shiny New Deel

Its last race saw this horse finish 7th of 12 at Flemington in a Open over 1400m. However, I think Shiny New Deel can do a better job here from barrier 10. Very good career record in second-up situations.

BEST BET - #1 - Batrana

Beau Mertens was on board last run and won over 1500m at Ballarat Synthetic. So I think that's a good form guide for Wednesday's race and should be tough to beat down the straight. First-up form looks good.

THE DANGER - #4 - Waimarie

Last time out, this horse made a late surge and finished a close second over 1400m at Caulfield, just behind the winner Lovazou (56.5kg). Is definitely one to watch and could be hard to beat. This horse goes on top for me.

VALUE BET - #8 - Minamishima

In its last race on July 8 at Pakenham Synthetic, this runner smashed the field, winning by 6.0 lengths. It carried 57.5kg and managed to beat Paulartes (56kg), which was good to watch, especially at $4.40 odds. Has enjoyed racing third-up in it's career.

Mark Zahra could have a huge day on Wednesday with a total of 3 runners at Sandown.

On a day filled with fierce competition and horses finely tuned for the races, it's wise to approach multi betting with caution. I've leaned towards horses with favourable barriers, decent weights and in-form jockeys. These factors can often make a real difference in such tightly contested races.
