Best Tip: Kensington - R7 - #3 - Cool Jakey
Cool Jakey has to take on the top weight when resuming here but does rate highly here and we often see Pride improving runners who come over to the stable. This particular runner won first up when on debut last prep and now comes into this off the back of two trials. Both of which he has been moving nicely and I think he likely takes this out first up.

Best Roughie: Moonee Valley - R2 - #4 - Appleby
Appleby has had just the two career starts for the Eurell stable but based off of the way he returned to racing last time out I find it hard to knock him here. He came off of a 24 week break from racing at Geelong over the 1100m last time out when finding the rails to lead and never letting going. Fitter and out in trip, she can make an impact at big odds.

Stats and Insights
- There is a very clear frontrunning bias at Moonee Valley even up until the staying distance of 2000m+, when considering between two selections see where they map to be in the run.
- The Waterhouse/Bott stable are one of the top trainers at Kensington, with a bunch of locally trained runners stepping out tomorrow at the course so watch for those.
- Kensington is a very wide track with a good run-in that makes it one of the fairest tracks around. It’s hard to say backmarkers are advantaged, but they are the closest thing to advantaged at Kensington Racecourse
