Racing returns to Canterbury racecourse and Moonee Valley racecourse this Friday for two great cards as we look towards our Saturday Tips and I am very keen on these cards and have outlined my best tips in my full length free horse racing tips articles that have been posted on our site but in addition to those I have also posted an exotics tips article where we look to pick up some more lucrative bets. Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 08/12/23
Best Tip: Canterbury - R8 - #10 - Accredited
Accredited comes into this as one of the sharpest horses and I think he can make it three wins in four career starts here. He looks like a very good horse for Joe Pride after resuming from a 19 week break from racing a couple weeks ago and being held up until the 200m but once the split came he absolutely jetted to the line between horses to win well. I expect only improvement off of that and think he wins again.

Best Roughie: Moonee Valley - R7 - #2 - Triumphantly
Triumphantly has to be over the odds here. He’s had four runs this time in, having won two of them and placed in one and comes off the back of a run at Seymour where he set sixth in the run and did have to look around a bit for a run but when it came gee he was strong to the line in winning. He comes up at a massive price now and draws gate one so if they can find a decent spot he can win this.

Stats and Insights
- There is a very clear frontrunning bias at Moonee Valley even up until the staying distance of 2000m+, when considering between two selections see where they map to be in the run.
- Canterbury is a much tighter track than most NSW courses, giving significant advantage to close on pacers and those close to the rail in general. It also favours late rails-in-run horses due to the tight turning nature.
- Chris Waller sends an army of runners to Canterbury Park tomorrow and is one of the top trainers at the course so watch for his runners there tomorrow.
