Racing returns to some familiar suspects with bumper eight and nine race cards set for Ipswich racecourse and Echuca racecourse and I have gone through both cards and posted extensive free horse racing tips articles which can be found on our site under Friday racing tips. I think that the Currie trained Janean could be a moral on debut here in this small field Maiden race sprint to kick the card off this Friday and I think that Janean is a good thing going and will likely make this a winning debut at her home base. Currie has this runner right to fire first up as is often the case with his first starters and this does look the right set up for a soft kill. He trialled on the Toowoomba inner two weeks back over the 650m where he displayed a really nice stride and ran a fast time out front. I don’t think there’s too much more to it, he likely goes well here.

Onslaught looks to have hit some serious form for the Mathrick camp and I think he can go on with it here. He beat a couple in this field last time out but it was just the way he did it that was so impressive, even if the time wasn’t super flash. His last run came just under two weeks ago where he set third and three wide with no cover and looked to be gone but just kept grinding away and it paid off when he eventually found the front and won in very impressive fashion. He will be fitter for that run and now should get a more economical run in transit which should see him be very strong.
