He then stepped out last time at Kilmore where he was posted wide and deep in the run where he swung even wider on the turn to come on very strongly into fourth again. There’s already been a subsequent winner out of that race, he’s hard fit now and maps for a much softer run. Well placed.

Wandjad looks ready to win here for Donna Scott at just his third career start and I am keen to see how he goes here and I want to have something on at the big price. He debuted at Wagga where he needed the run before showing massive signs of improvement when stepping out at Albury last time out over the 1500m when pushing along from a wide gate and looked to be dropping out of it at the turn but just kept finding more to powerfully find the line and grab the minor placing there. He’s hard fit now, maps to get a good run in transit and comes up over the odds for me.
