Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 10/07/23

Racing returns to Dubbo Racecourse and Donald Racecourse this Monday and if you have been following my best bets tips for a while you would know we have been having quite a bit of success at Dubbo. We didn’t get much luck today off the back of a successful Saturday of racing with my Saturday racing tips doing nicely and we look to once again start the week in a big way with some winners. As usual I have run through both the cards mentioned above and picked out a best bet and best outside chance of the day. I have also gone across the Aussie betting sites / betting apps and highlighted where you can get the best odds for these picks. Maryland Bridge made his debut for the Clisby stable at this course about a month ago when running a very good second placing over the 1000m before sticking at the course, going out 100m in distance and winning sharply from a low draw two weeks ago. She didn’t beat much there but she ran great times, looks sharp and should have plenty more to offer third up here on her home course and not too much sharper a field. Bullock retains the ride and she should go well.

We look set for a genuine wet track tomorrow and as such I have landed on the Raymond trained Kimmorley who has had just the one start so far for the stable. That run came two weeks ago in a genuine heavy track at Bendigo over the 1300m where he set three back on the rail after crossing easily from midfield and when he got to the turn and was challenged he boxed along well to find the line nicely and didn’t look tired in the finish. He gets extra ground now and will be setting back in the field with plenty of time in the big straight to launch over the top of them. I think he is way over the odds and am playing him each way at some good odds.
