Nickelback has had four runs back from a spell this time in for the Lee stable and really looks to have gotten going in his last couple and two back he scored dominantly over the 1400m at Casino where he was a short priced favourite. He then stepped out to Saturday grade at Rosehill last time out over the same distance where he overraced in the first half of the race where he was posted two wide before displaying a very dynamic run style to weave through a passage late and came on so strongly at the end to keep grinding through the line for a strong placing off a tough run behind Melody Again. He now comes back to provincial grade, hard fit and looks well placed to win again now.

Mojo Music looks overdue for a win for the Dale stable after finishing runner up in his past two starts and now is being turned around for a reasonably quick back up after being given four weeks between runs at both his last starts so I think there is a fair bit of intent from the stable. Both of the runs have been in good bits of time and in both he has had to endure quite tough runs so now he is rock hard fit coming into this and Cory Parish retains the ride and knows the horse well. The only query is how far back in the run he gets buried back but I think that with any luck in running he will have plenty to offer for them late and he goes very well at this track.
