Gutsy is chasing three in a row coming into this race for the Williams camp and I think he likely gets it done here. He resumed off of a long 41 week spell and made his debut for Gayna Williams two back at Dubbo where he belted a nothing field first up before last stepping out here and not getting the easiest of runs but was able to weave a path through on the inside and get the best of the field there inside the last 200m. He’s hard fit now, flying and meets another beatable field.

Foxford Babe seems to have returned to racing very well and I think presents as overs in this field. He came off of a spell of 25 weeks a fortnight ago at Bong Bong where he had to lug the big weight of 62kg and still powered home fresh over the 1200m to place third there in a very honest effort. He meets more solid opposition now but is race fitter, goes way down in the weights and out 100m in trip all look like positives.
