Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 22/04/24

Racing comes back to Bendigo racecourse and Sunshine Coast racecourse this Sunday for two bumper cards off the back of what was a bit of an all over the place day for our free horse racing tips in NSW, VIC and QLD but I am keen to close the week out in a big way and as usual have picked out a best bet and best outside chance of the day across the two cards. Shogun Express is the horse to get past for me in a decently competitive 2000m race tomorrow. He’s had two runs to kick the career off and has continued to improve with each despite not getting the easiest of runs either time. He was good on debut rolling forward and sticking on before running home nicely into midfield behind an all the way winner. He looks very suited getting out in trip now and will be sharp here with Egan aboard.

Nazorian just never runs poorly and has to shape up well once again for Janel Ryan after running two weeks ago and being beaten less then two lengths and she only looked to be getting stronger through the line. She’s a true sprinter and a close runner up in Heavy ground in two runs and it looks like we’re set for the track to be near Heavy if not. I think she shapes up well at a decent price.
