Racing returns to Wagga racecourse and Warrnambool racecourse this Monday for two solid cards to kick the week off and I am keen on a couple runners from each of these cards and to see how they fair here. We come off the back of a decent day in horse racing betting this past Saturday with my Saturday Tips going okay and our Sunday tips being luckless when knocked off by a $45.00 odd chance and a $10.00 chance. Char looks very well placed to break through here after putting in back to back very solid efforts since coming over to Ben Brisbourne and I think he finds a beatable field here now. He ran at this course two back in the Aggies Cup where he looked the winner a long way before just over racing a bit early in the straight and it cost him when going down third. He then again put in another very solid run last time out at Leeton where he clocked some good splits for this grade and was only overrun late when finding one better in the closing parts of the race. Well placed to win now.

I think that Navajo Warrior looks like a decently smart horse for the Chow stable who is well placed here. He changed stables from Henry Dwyer to Peter Chow before coming off of a 19 week break and has since put in three solid efforts from the spell with a smart win two back at Coleraine over the Mile before putting in another close placing over the 2200m at Hamilton when hitting the line hard in the last 200m to only be overrun by two smart horses late. He draws well here, gets in well weighted and I expect a decent showing at odds.
