Racing returns to our usual Monday suspects with bumper eight race cards set for Ballarat Synthetic racecourse and Wagga racecourse and we come into this week off the back of an awesome weekend of horse racing betting across our Metro tracks and our Saturday racing tips did very well across the board as well as our best bets tips for this Sunday having our best bet salute and roughie yet to run at the time of writing this. Bluff Point looks like he will be super competitive in this field, second up here for Luke Kennewell in what is just Bluff Point’s second prep at the races. He returned to racing at this track off of a twenty three week spell about five weeks ago over this distance and he seems to have returned very well. He set fifth and three wide through the run from an outer barrier and still chased strongly out wide to make some good late ground but wasn’t able to overcome the tough run and faded late. That was a brave first up effort and he will be sure to have plenty more to offer here second up and should get every chance in this field.

Cyborg is surely over the odds in this field and I think can run a big race here. The six year old Gardner product has been given a short 7 week let up from the races and that looks the key to him as most of his wins have been recorded reasonably fresh. He’s also a track specialist here with three wins and a close second placing in four runs, giving him an overall strike rate at the course of nearly 50%. He last raced here over this distance when having drawn the widest barrier and setting last, making some very good ground late but never being a winning chance. He now gets Brendan Ward back on for the ride, who has provided a winning combination before and they map to find a decent spot behind the speed and be prominent late as long as he isn’t too far back in the run. Keen at odds.
