Racing returns to Dubbo Racecourse and the Pakenham Synthetic for some familiar Monday meetings off the back of an awesome weekend to close out the Group 1 racing season at Randwick Racecourse, Eagle Farm Racecourse and Caulfield racecourse. I have gone through both the Dubbo and Pakenham Synthetic cards and picked out my best bet and best outside chance of the day as well as which Aussie betting sites / betting apps have the best odds for these picks. The locally trained Shebrings Beauty for Matty Smith is going to be tough to beat here off the back of three consecutive close placings. He ran two back at Sale over the 1400m where he raced tough out wide and kept finding the line to just miss and place second there in an effort that really looked like she wanted longer. She then came to this track a few weeks back over the same trip and looked to handle the Synthetic well when making heaps of late ground but again just not being able to get there and looking for longer. He sticks at the course now, is hard fit and finally gets the extra 200m he has been looking for. Will be hard to beat here.

I am looking for genuine wet trackers tomorrow at Dubbo racecourse and have landed on the Nick Heywood trained Brogans Creek who looks to have found a bit of form in recent times and should go very well here. He raced two back at Wellington in a strong BM58 on similar going and looked to really relish the track conditions there when hitting the front at the top of the straight in a big effort to just go down late into second place. He then came to this track for the Winter Qualifier where he sat on the rails behind the speed and battled on well but just didn’t fully look himself but finished just behind the placegetters and was far from disgraced there. Stays at the course, hard fit and from the low draw they will have plenty of options. I think he will look a lot shorter than the quote we see now of around $8.00.
