Racing returns to Randwick racecourse, Caulfield racecourse and Eagle Farm racecourse this Saturday for two solid cards in NSW and VIC as we are well underway into the peak of the Autumn season and we see some very progressive runners stepping out for these meetings. It looks like it’s quite a tough day at Eagle Farm, at least early in the card, but I think that Sacred Feeling will relish getting out to the 1800m and seems like a very solid bet to kick off the day’s punting at the course. She last raced at Doomben a few weeks ago over the mile where she looked the winner before just being overrun late in the piece by a smart horse. She won at this track and trip this time last prep and should be able to replicate that again.

A horse that the more I look into the more I like is Sharp Shock for Rob Northam and we had him a few weeks ago in the Wildcard where he wasn’t ever fully able to get into the run but gee was he good late when flying home into second place. Prior to then he ran home very well into second behind Bandi’s Boy when nearly claiming him there. I think he will relish stepping out at Randwick now and he is a proven swimmer, gets in light, I think I will have to have something on at the big price.
