Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 08/07/23

Black Type racing is back since the conclusion of the Group 1 races a few weeks ago and we come to Caulfield Racecourse, Randwick Racecourse and Doomben Racecourse for listed race action tomorrow with great cards on the horizon. As usual, I have extensive articles posted for each of the tracks in my free horse racing tips on our site but in this article I have picked out my best bet and next best bet across all the racecourses and attached the highest odds you can get at the time of writing across Australian betting sites / betting apps. Saturday racing is also the best time to take advantage of the promotions on our betting sites and just below the tips you will find a short section where I outline my most preferable promotions. It’s very hard to get away from Jimmy Orman combining with the top Queensland stables, especially on less prominent race days at Doomben and Pocket Full seems to fit the profile very well. He is set to make it three in a row for the Kendrick stable and finds another winnable race. He resumed off of a twenty one week spell at the Sunshine Coast two back over the 1000m where he got the run of the race and won when tiring late in the piece before coming to this track last time out and showing big improvements with fitness to lead and easily win over the 1200m here with what looks like lots more to offer. Comes into this third up now, with more upside out to a very suitable distance and Orman retains the ride. Can’t see this going badly.

If you have been with us for a while you will know it’s no secret that I am a big fan of the Anthony and Sam Freedman stable and we have been following one of their key runners in King Of Hastings since he resumed. He gets his best shot at winning now off the back of his first up run behind Lady Of Luxury in a strong BM94 where he only got clear air late and once he did he stormed home into third before racing in the Civic stakes here where he looked the winner and was just nabbed by Ucalledit late to go down second. He should be at his peak now third up and there’s not too much more to it, he should run well.
