Racing returns to Randwick racecourse, Caulfield racecourse and Doomben racecourse for three belter cards as the Autumn Group 1 races season kicks off here and I am very much looking forward to these high level cards with a bunch of listed racing across the NSW and VIC racing. I have gone through the cards extensively and picked out full length free horse racing tips and in addition to those tips I have also posted an exotics tips page on our site and a multibet tips page. As for this article we focus on our best bet and best outside chance of the day as well as outlined our best promotions across the aussie betting sites. Best Tip: Randwick - R2 - #1 - Anode

Anode looks like the straight bat option here for the Waterhouse / Bott stable and has been saved for this race since winning dominantly on debut on the 16th of December where he found the front and never gave any horse a chance to get into the race. His trials have been very solid for the return to racing and I imagine they will employ similar tactics here.

Best Roughie: Doomben - R5 - #2 - Quothquan

Quothquan has to be given a look here after he resumed to racing for the Dann stable off of a 23 week break and did so with a bang. He returned to racing here over the 1200m a couple weeks ago when setting sixth in the run and just away from the rail before clicking up hard in the straight and powering home for a good win. He has plenty of upside coming into this, gets a good claim from Molloy and should be prominent here. Over the odds for me.

Stats and Insights

Randwick is a very wide track with a good run-in that makes it one of the fairest tracks around. It’s hard to say backmarkers are advantaged, but they are the closest thing to advantaged at Randwick Racecourse.

Caulfield Racecourse is a tighter track than Flemington and suits on pacers more until distances past 1600m.

Over the shorter trips at Doomben (up until about the 1350m) outside barriers are significantly disadvantaged. Look for horses that draw inside or have lots of early speed and stay away from those that are backmarkers.
