Racing kicks on this Saturday and we have an incredibly big day of black type racing at Eagle Farm Racecourse where it is Stradbroke day, featuring a bunch of Group 1 races that are supported by big cards at Randwick Racecourse and Sandown Hillside Racecourse. Ozzmosis is a clear cut top pick to kick off the Randwick race card and hopefully get us all an early winner. Bjorn Baker sent him off to Gosford for his debut under J Mac two weeks ago and he barely had to extend himself at all their, where he sat off the speed until J Mac pushed the button and once he did he powered away from the field, seemingly not even hitting top gear. Proper contest for him now and he should go well under the pressure.

Outlandos can run a big race at Odds here. He’s one of the few that is proven out at 3000m+ and is hard fit, having been running well which should see him competitive here. He raced in a BM78 a couple weeks back at Rosehill when starting his run a bit early, letting down quickly and hard just before the turn and really digging his foot into the ground when just holding on to win there. The splits read well for this and if he can be ridden with an even bigger sit now that he has to go an extra few hundred metres and time the run just a bit later I think he has what it takes to win this.
