Best Tip: Flemington - R8 - #2 - Sghirripa
I think that Sghirripa is just such a good horse for the Oxlade boys coming out of the Christmas Stakes at Caulfield where he absolutely floored the field when shifting out in the straight and letting down with real puprose to win very well. I don’t think this is a particularly strong race relative to that and he’s clearly been revved up for this. Go well.

Best Roughie: Gold Coast - R5 - #2 - Warning
I used to love Warning when he was racing in the Heavy as anyone did but I think that from what we have seen lately in his runs he has become more of a genuine Dry tracking horse. He stepped out at Flemington first up and did really well on the speed before not doing anything in the Summer Cup a couple weeks later. Back onto the dry deck and a good set up, feels like he’s overs.

Stats and Insights
- Contrary to many racecourses at the Gold Coast racecourse the track bias is skewed towards outside runners in bigger fields.
- It has been noted by stewards and sharp punters recently that being on pace and close to the rail has been the best place/places to be at Rosehill in recent times, a track that is known to change every couple months in terms of bias so take good note of that.
- Maher and Eustace are the top trainers at Flemington Racecourse so far this season and historically (last two seasons), they have a bunch of favourites and second favourites running tomorrow so watch for those I have outlined in my extensive Flemington tips.
