Best Tip: Moonee Valley - R7 - #6 - Brayden Star
I think most of the good betting spots at The Valley will be later on the program. Whilst it’s bit scary due to track conditions deteriorating generally over the course of the day, the bias at The Valley generally doesn’t change too sharply and I think that the Busuttin / Young trained Brayden Star is going to be tough to beat here. He raced a few weeks ago at Flemington when stepping out for the first time in about six weeks and showed he was very much still in form when having too much for them and winning well. Natural improvement from the quicker turn around this time should carry him well enough to beat what isn’t an overly strong field. He is also the top rated and highest gap to second rated in any field of the day at the course.

BEST OF THREE TOTES |
*The Best Tote bet type pays bettors the highest dividend declared by the three national totes. The VIC TAB, NSW TAB and UBet. This likely means that there aren't fixed odds available at the time of writing this on that bookmaker and there likely will be.
Best Roughie: Rosehill - R8 - #2 - Barber
Barber is a track specialist at Rosehill and the form around him reads very well for this assignment, arguably the best in the field. I think he definitely has the class to take this out at what is, at the time of writing, a very nice price. He ran in a very messy Blue Diamond that wasn’t an accurate form reference for most and then got caught four wide in the Golden Slipper and then running a close placing in the Kindergarten and going away for a spell. He’s had three trials to ready himself for the return so there is clearly a level of intent from the stable and if he puts it all together he could take this out in fine fashion. I am keen to have something on.

Stats and Insights
- There is a very clear frontrunning bias at Moonee Valley even up until the staying distance of 2000m+, when considering between two selections see where they map to be in the run.
- It has been noted by stewards and sharp punters recently that being on pace and close to the rail has been the best place/places to be at Rosehill in recent times, a track that is known to change every couple months in terms of bias so take good note of that.
- Over the shorter trips at Doomben (up until about the 1350m) outside barriers are significantly disadvantaged. Look for horses that draw inside or have lots of early speed and stay away from those that are backmarkers.
- One of the most important track bias’ at Rosehill is for the 1100m-1200m races which start inside a chute on the course that affects the home turn in that it makes it almost like a hairpin turn.
Best Racing Promotions
Promotions are an imperative aspect of horse racing betting and have traditionally been the primary mode of punters getting an edge over the Aussie horse racing betting sites as you are essentially getting an extra shot at your bet that you wouldn’t traditionally be offered through promotions.
Punterspal, in the last few Saturday racing meetings, has stuck out to me amongst the Aussie betting sites that provide racing promotions and is one Australian betting apps I would look into, particularly when it comes to Saturday racing as we approach the Group 1 races season again this Spring.
On our site we have a Punterspal Review that goes in depth into the bookmaker as well as other reviews such as Vicbet reviews, Palmerbet reviews etc amongst some of the other top bookmakers that frequently have promotions.
Promotions tend to change regularly, so it is important to sign up to these betting sites to stay updated on the latest applicable promotions.
