Best Tip: Moonee Valley - R2 - #4 - Ceerseven
Ceerseven seems like a good betting spot to kick the day off at Moonee Valley. This Mitch Freedman trained runner resumed to racing over the 1400m at Geelong a couple weeks ago where he was posted near last in the run and despite not being a winning chance he was flying home behind a smart horse. With plenty of upside here, market’s all over him but I am still happy to take the ~$2.30 quote we see at the moment.

Best Roughie: Sunshine Coast - R3 - #10 - Dirty Dancing
I understand that this is a bit of step up in competition for Dirty Dancing but you would have to think the market is disrespecting him a bit coming into this at around $14.00 odds and chasing a hat trick here. His last two runs and wins have come at this track and trip and he seems to be building himself into somewhat of a specialist here. I think the quote is too high and he is definite overs here.

Stats and Insights
- Randwick is a very wide track with a good run-in that makes it one of the fairest tracks around. It’s hard to say backmarkers are advantaged, but they are the closest thing to advantaged at Randwick Racecourse
- Sunshine Coast has open angled bends which give back markers a good opportunity to come from behind and win
- At Sunshine Coast racecourse Barrier draws are of least importance at the 1300 and 1400 metre.
- There is a very clear frontrunning bias at Moonee Valley even up until the staying distance of 2000m+, when considering between two selections see where they map to be in the run.
