Racing returns to the Sunshine Coast racecourse and the Geelong racecourse off the back of the group 1 races this past Saturday and we went pretty well with our Saturday Tips, best bets tips and exotics tips. Our roughie of the day came in and we had two of three of our exotics bets come in as well for what was a very profitable day overall. Raoul is a bomb fresh horse for Chris Anderson who resumes here and will be having his first start for Anderson after coming across from Scott Singleton. He’s got a cracker fresh record with a win and close second placing from three first up runs and now has been trialling very nicely and looks revved up for a return to racing. He most recently trialled at Doomben at the beginning of last month where he really looked to be ridden with a fair bit of intent and won well. He gets the booking of Jimmy Orman and maps to get a comfy spot behind a genuine speed and should be launching late at them.

Crown Harmonium looks well placed to hit back hard here after a luckless last outing where he just couldn’t get clear air at Warrnackbeal. The two runs prior to that had seen him working very close to a win when just missing at Geelong over the this distance where he sat on the speed and still had a solid kick in the straight and prior to then also looked very strong over the 1400m on the Pakenham Synthetic. He is rock hard fit now, better for a tonne of racing experience and now gets the gun draw and with Hammond on and the big 3kg claim he gets in at just 54kg. I think definite overs for me and am keen to have something on at the odds.
