Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 09/07/23

Racing comes back to the Pakenham Synthetic racecourse and the Sunshine Coast racecourse and we come off the back of great Saturday racing where my free horse racing tips did very well for the weekend and I hope you followed along and picked up some winners! Our best bets tips article didn’t go as well with the best bet running a half head second and our roughie of the day coming third. We look to go again tomorrow and pick up some end of week winners and I have run through both the cards mentioned above and picked out a best bet and best outside chance of the day. I have also gone across the Aussie betting sites / betting apps and highlighted where you can get the best odds for these picks. Whisky Mac looks like a good thing going for Patrick Payne and seems to have resumed in quite good order and I think he will run well tomorrow. He resumed at this track three weeks ago over the mile where he made ground nicely from out wide to find the rail and kept finding the line to finish just behind the placegetters. There’s clearly intent by the stable if he’s taking a sharp rise in trip and he is proven at these distances. He recorded a nice win over the 2000m at this track last prep and gets a big jockey upgrade to Noonan now, only runs well IMO.

Magic Mikey looks due for a win for the Foster stable and can hit hard here. He resumed off of a long 26 week spell on the Gold Coast Synthetic just over three weeks ago over the 1540m where he gave them a start before shifting out wide on the turn and starting a run home to get into third. He has two close placings in three runs at the course, should have plenty of upside second up and maps to settle much closer in the run. I think he goes well tomorrow.
