Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 06/07/23

Racing returns to Gosford Racecourse and Moe Racecourse off the back of solid midweek meetings at Sandown and Kensington Racecourses where our free horse race tips went very well! We had multiple bets from each of the cards come through, unfortunately our best bets tips both finished in the placings today but we will go again tomorrow and hit back hard in what has been a tricky week of racing! As usual I have gone through both the cards and picked out a best bet and best outside chance of the day as well as found where the best odds are for these picks across the Aussie betting sites / betting apps and attached them to my picks just below the tips. Kris Lees took control of Never Sorry at the beginning of the year and has only had a handful of runs for the stable but has been honest as ever, winning his first run for the stable at Port Macquarie before going to Tuncurry and running an ever close second and then took a break away from the races but came back to Tamworth racing at the beginning of March where he eased three wide at the turn after a tough run and it told late when he faded steadily. He’s had two nice tick over trials at the beginning and end of last month where he hasn’t been asked for that much effort but has boxed along very nicely in both. The stable goes well here and with Gibbons on I can’t see him running badly.

Washington seems to be quite an astute type for the B & J Hayes boys and is, in my opinion, the best of the raced here and gets a crucially good draw for this track / field size that should see him go a lot closer than his debut. That debut run came at Donald three weeks ago over this distance in the Donald Classic where he started as odds on fav, set third along the rail before angling out on the straight to start his run and came on strongly but just couldn’t get there when finishing third. The time was good though, he looked a nice type when running and I think he goes well here second up with a ton of upside from the stable.
