Racing comes back to Flemington racecourse and the Hawkesbury racecourse off the back of some of the biggest racing of the year with our massive listed racing cards of The Big Dance at Randwick and of course, the premier staying contest of the season, the Melbourne Cup at Flemington. We got the money in the big dance at a massive price on Wednesday with our roughie of the day, Attractable, getting up at about $20 across the aussie betting sites. We are having a great week and I am keen to keep it going. It’s another huge day of listed racing with VRC Kennedy Oaks day at Flemington and I have run through both of the cards and picked out a best bet and a roughie of the day across each but there will be plenty of good betting spots tomorrow so make sure to utilise the track insights at the bottom of this article. Zardozi should be measuring up as the standout in the field here on the quick back up from Saturday’s run in the Wakeful Stakes where she hadn’t seen racing off a short break since the Edward Manifold Stakes where she won dominantly and Saturday’s run was full of merit given the break. I think now with the quicker turn around, Cummings has clearly had this race in mind and I think she will be tough to beat here.

Steely has to be respected here for the Ryan and Alexiou camp and I think looks very well placed here after having genuine excuses last start and that is why I think we see the price that we do this time round on him. He last stepped out in the Big Dance Wild Card a couple weeks back at Randwick where he was never in the race when opening cuts to both hind pasterns. The win prior was very impressive over the 1400m at Eagle Farm and I think he shapes up very well here hard fit now, in super light with Reece Jones aboard and this is well within reach.
