Queen Starlight rates very well here for Peter Moody and I think is going to run excellently at just his third career start. He debuted on the synthetic when running a very eye-catching runner up placing before stepping out at Ballarat last time out about three weeks ago where he set fourth in the run before coming off the back of the leaders in the straight and powering home to win very well. He still has upside to come at just his third career start now and the way he’s been racing, combined with the lightweight he gets in at, gee I think he’s a good thing going.

Panda Drum seems like a class animal for the Morrison camp and I think his debut reads a lot better than it might appear at first on paper. He has had just the one run to kick his career off for the stable when stepping out at the Sunshine Coast just over two weeks ago and not getting the easiest of runs when buried deep on the inside far back but the way he weaved a path through near the rail and was powering home when finishing just behind the placegetters was very impressive. If he gets a more economical run in transit this time in I think he will be prominent here and comes up at a nice price.
