Best Tip: Wyong - R5 - #7 - Costa Smeralda

Costa Smeralda looks like a very solid bet here for Maher and Eustace and after winning on debut at this course over the 1100m he stepped out four weeks between runs over the 1000m last time out and led along the fence before giving a solid kick in the straight and just finding a few better in the dying furlongs of the race. I think he will be even sharper third up now, staying at home base and hopefully with a bunny to chase. Go well.

Best Roughie: Ipswich - R5 - #13 - Pagato

The Bellamy camp rarely sends runners out at Ipswich without intent and I think Pagato fits the bill well here if they do decide to run him as he is currently entered as an emergency. He has had two runs back from a 19 week spell and last time showed big improvement between runs when sitting on the leaders heels and running home powerfully when placing second and just being unable to get one over the winner there. Third up now, hard fit and from a good draw also coming in at limit weight with the claimer aboard I think he runs very well here.

The Wyong racecourse is near circular, offering runners with more dynamic run styles and those that handle bendy tracks a big advantage, also gives those close to the rail an advantage in sprints
Maher and Eustace send a bunch of sharp looking horses to Wyong racecourse tomorrow so watch out for them, including the one I have tipped.

Ipswich Racecourse is known to have an excellent wet weather racing surface, and we do see the sting out of the ground tomorrow so watch for any genuine wet trackers as they will have every chance
