Like Lukey showed some promise at Taree last time and I think it's ready to win. In it's last start, Like Lukey placed 3rd out of 12 in a Mdn on June 9 over 1412m, on a heavy track, just 1.0 lengths behind Bright Legend (57kg) with 56.5kg at $4.00. Previously, 3rd of 11 at Newcastle Mdn on May 25, 2024 over 1400m. Has enjoyed success in wet conditions and the track conditions should be suitable.

Best Roughie: Ten Downing Street #10 Wangaratta R9
Last time out at Werribee, Ten Downing Street was right up there with the leaders and put in a solid effort. He showed great speed and battled on fairly well. This time, I think he's got a more favourable draw, which should give him a better shot. With that advantage, he's definitely among the dangers and one to watch closely. In his last start, Ten Downing Street was 60kg and ended up finishing 2nd, behind Cleitus (59.5kg) over 1600m after being right in the thick of things around the corner. Previously, 1st of 9 at Moe Mdn on May 14, 2024 over 1600m. Previous success running first-up in it's career and should enjoy the racing conditions at Wangaratta. In good form at the moment, so hopefully that continues.
