Betsy’s Flag rates highly in this field and I think is due for another win which she can definitely get here. She’s only had the two career starts for Joe Pride and has been very strong in both of them. Her career with the stable kicked off at this track and trip mid August when she came back from a long spell and thrashed a soft field, kicking at the 200m and never being in doubt when lengths clear before facing an honest contest at Wyong over this trip last time out where she was trapped three wide with no cover and was weakened out of it late. She will be approaching hard fitness now, back to this track where she can find the lead and be too strong for them again.

Bold Ransom looks like a true sprinter for the Cornish stable and is suited dropping back to the 800m sprint here and back to the course he knows well. He won fresh at this trip at Warwick a few weeks back when coming off a long spell and clocking some good splits fresh before two runs up in trip / grade where he hasn’t been disgraced at all when coming on strongly to finish just outside the placegetters in each of those runs. He now comes back to firing distance over this trip and has multiple wins at this course.
