Racing kicks on at some familiar tracks this Thursday with an eight race card set for Kembla Grange racecourse and a massive ten race card set for Apiam Bendigo racecourse and there looks to be a lot of competitive fields, within these competitive fields I think there are some very nice spots and I am keen to pick up some early value like we did without Wednesday racing tips. Enzed Magic is a well bred four year old gelding who looks very well placed to remain undefeated in this field and while the opening market hasn’t established a clear favourite in running I think that is a great opportunity to grab a bit of value on this runner. He was picked up by Erin Maher last year and had a bit of work done under him before being sold to Michael Kent earlier this year, who has been putting in some outstanding training efforts this season. Enzed took a bit of time to make his way to the races but once he did debut at the end of May it was a brilliant display when he found the rail to lead and looked dead at the 150m but showed an impressive changing of gears from seemingly nowhere to burst through the line and win well. He ran a decent bit of time for the day that day at Cranbourne and he now steps out 400m off that effort which looks like the natural step up from there. I think he’s the class of the field and am quite keen on his chances.

R & L Price send an assault of runners to Kembla Grange for tomorrow’s meeting and there are a few of theirs in this field alone. I think the pick of them is Slickman who should be hard fit coming into this third up and ready to win. He’s been clocking the fastest average last 600m splits across this race and some of the fastest times relative to the benchmark. He’s locally trained and displayed a very dynamic run style when returning to racing off an 18 week spell two back at Moruya where he weaved between runners and gave himself every chance to place second. His last effort saw him settle at the rear of the field and come on strongly in the straight from far back in the field. He will be fitter for that outing and is ready to peak here third up. Gets in super light after the claim from Chambers and will surely run well here.
